About Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera  

Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera (Yayasan Peneraju) is an initiative to strengthen the universal and continuous development of Bumiputera efforts. 

Among the mandates entrusted to Yayasan Peneraju include improving the quality, quantity and relevance of Bumiputera talents in line with Malaysia’s efforts to upgrade Malaysia to a high-income country through academic, TVET, professional, technology and specialist financing programs. 

Malaysia’s Digitalization Journey 

Malaysia has embarked on its digitalisation journey since 1996 with the introduction of the Multimedia Super Corridor. Through this initiative, the country has recorded some success stories, such as attracting domestic and foreign information and communication technology (ICT) companies to operate in specific economic zones.  

Doubling down on our strengths alone will no longer work in the future, as the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) and the rapid advancement of disruptive technologies including digital technology have shown the potential to significantly transform the economic landscape around the world. The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the wave of change in driving the rakyat, business and the government to adapt to digitalisation for their daily needs. Malaysia will lose out in the increasingly competitive global economy if we are not ready for change.  

MyDIGITAL has set the direction of digital economy and built the foundation to drive digitalisation across the nation. To realise the aspirations of MyDIGITAL, the Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint is formulated as the action plan to outline the efforts and initiatives which will be implemented up to 2030.  

This Blueprint envisions Malaysia becoming the regional lead in digital economy and to achieve inclusive, responsible and sustainable socioeconomic development. Its three objectives are to encourage industry players to become creators, users and adopters of innovative business models, harness human capital to thrive in the digital economy and nurture an integrated ecosystem that allows society to embrace digital economy. 

Cultivating and developing Bumiputera talents to their highest potential across the nation.  

Labour work, especially positions that require higher skills set within the technology sector, is predicted to increase in demand in the next few years. This spike is likely in response to the growth and development of the Industrial Revolution (IR4.0) in Malaysia. The push of the technology sector forward back in 2018 as well as the introduction of the MyDIGITAL blueprint in 2021 became the starting point in the implementation of technology programs in a more focused manner. Yayasan Peneraju has seen taking a more proactive role in helping target the growth of labour force attain higher skills set.  

Yayasan Peneraju has introduced more than 4 sponsored programs within the technical field, both part time and full time, ever since its inception in 2012. These programmed are designed and curated for students on the entry level all the way up to the final year students as well as professional. The principal aim of these programmes are to help increase high skill employment through obtaining professional certifications from globally recognised technology accreditation bodies such as Fusionex, Microsoft, CompTIA+ and SAP. 

Trainocate Malaysia in partnership with Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera, aims to accelerate the growth of the Bumiputera workforce as we journey into the future of mass digitalization in the country, and to ensure that they are prepared and equipped to innovate and adapt to the challenges that come with digital transformation exercises.  

Objectives: 

• To increase the quality, quantity, and effectiveness of Bumiputera talent in line with the government’s efforts to drive Malaysia towards a high-income country through academic financing programs, vocational certification, professionals & specialists. 
• Professional Certification Program for Undergraduate, Fresh Graduate and Working Adults, as an effort to upskill the Bumiputera talents!

There are currently two types of programmes being offered – PUSH and SPEED.  

Through Skill/Professional Employability Enhancement & Development (SPEED), we are offering you the opportunity to upskill and gain industry recognised professional technology certification with up to 90% funding (funding+certfication fees). This programme is aimed at working and non-working adults.  

(UP TO 90% FOR TRAINING & EXAMINATION FEES) FOR WORKING/NON-WORKING ADULTS 

Through a series of use case scenarios and practical learning, candidates will learn to identify services and features to build resilient, secure, and highly available IT solutions in the AWS Cloud. 

Expert AWS Instructors emphasize best practices using the AWS Well-Architected Framework and guide participants through the process of designing optimal IT solutions, based on real-life scenarios. At the end of the course, participants will practice building a solution and apply what they’ve learned with confidence. 

Requirement:  

• Bumiputera 

• Age from 25 years old until 45 years old 

• At least 3 years of working experience in related industry  

• Preferably Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science 

Training: 5 days 

Examination: 130 minutes to complete the exam 

To prepare for this certification, participants need to complete the Implementing and Administering Cisco Solutions (CCNA) course. This course gives scholars a broad range of fundamental knowledge for all IT careers. 

Through a combination of lecture, hands-on labs, and self-study, participants will learn how to install, operate, configure, and verify basic IPv4 and IPv6 networks. The course covers configuring network components such as switches, routers, and wireless LAN controllers; managing network devices; and identifying basic security threats. 

The course also gives participants a foundation in network programmability, automation, and software-defined networking. 

Requirement:  

• Malaysian Bumiputera 

• Age from 25 years old until 45 years old 

• At least 3 years of working experience in related industry  

• Preferably Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science 

Training: 5 days 

Examination: 120 minutes to complete the exam 

This course starts with CompTIA Network+ concepts and builds on participants existing user-level knowledge and experience with personal computer operating systems and networks to present the fundamental skills and concepts that participants will need in networking, including configuring security parameters. 

The bootcamp then focuses on Security+ concepts, which covers the primary curriculum participants need to learn as a security engineer, covering topics on securing network services, devices, and traffic in an organization. 

Requirements:  

• Malaysian Bumiputera  

• Age from 25 years old until 45 years old 

• At least 3 years of working experience in related industry 

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science 

Training: 5 days 

Examination: 90 minutes to complete the exam

YAYASAN PENERAJU FULLY FUNDED PROGRAMMES FOR JUNIOR WORKFORCE WITH LESS THAN 3 YEARS OF WORKING EXPERIENCE
