The world needs great solutions. Build yours faster.  Learn how you can quickly build and share low-code apps with Microsoft Power Apps.

In this blog post, we’ll be talking a bit about Power Apps.

What is Power Apps?

Power Apps is a tool introduced by Microsoft and if you have read through my previous blog on Microsoft Power Platform, you would’ve been able to tell that Power Apps and Power Automate being used together would be able to achieve a creation of a better solution to increase productivity. Power Apps itself is designed to help businesses build their desired customized apps, create efficiencies as well as drive process automation.

What makes Power Apps different from others?

People may argue that there are better apps aside from Power Apps and what makes Power Apps stand out from tools such as SkyBow, Stratus Forms, FlowForma and more? Firstly, Power Apps only requires a low-code approach while other app development normally is filled with high complexity making it a requirement for users to be equipped with a skill of an IT Professional. This has given a positive effect which allows users who have no IT expertise to create apps as well with its user-friendly interface. The drag and drop interface in PowerApps helped users to navigate the app easily.

However, although users are not expected to be equipped with programming languages skill, they are still required to write formulas in order to underline logic. Moreover, in Power Apps, users can opt to create simple apps or they may opt to go for complex Power Apps which requires advanced knowledge.
