Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
The Azure Fundamentals certification validates your basic knowledge of cloud services and how those services are provided with Azure. You earn it by passing Exam AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals.
You can use your Azure Fundamentals certification to reinforce your basics for other Azure role-based or specialty certifications, but it isn’t a prerequisite for any of them.

Candidates for the Azure Fundamentals certification should have foundational knowledge of cloud services and how those services are provided with Microsoft Azure. This certification is intended for candidates who are just beginning to work with cloud-based solutions and services or are new to Azure.
Azure Fundamentals certification is an opportunity to prove knowledge of cloud concepts, Azure services, Azure workloads, security and privacy in Azure, as well as Azure pricing and support. Candidates should be familiar with the general technology concepts, including concepts of networking, storage, compute, application support, and application development.
Azure Fundamentals can be used to prepare for other Azure role-based or specialty certifications, but it is not a prerequisite for any of them.
This exam measures your ability to describe the following concepts: cloud concepts; core Azure services; core solutions and management tools on Azure; general security and network security features; identity, governance, privacy, and compliance features; and Azure cost management and Service Level Agreements.

The number of questions on a certification exam is subject to change as Microsoft make updates to ensure it aligns with current changes in the technology and job role. Most Microsoft Certification exams typically contain between 40-60 questions; and around 60-140 minutes.
Starting June 30 2021, all newly earned role-based and specialty certifications will be valid for one year from the date the certification was earned.

This course teaches developers how to create end-to-end solutions in Microsoft Azure. The AZ-500T00 training enables you to secure end-to-end infrastructure on both cloud and hybrid environments and validate technical expertise with the Azure Security Engineer Associate certification.
