Module 1: The Role of Procurement

Module 2: Business Organization Challenges

  • What are the challenges in a Business Organization
  • Fully aware of the challenges and role of procurement in meeting these challenges

Module 3: The Strategic and Tactical Objective and Goal of Procurement and Inventory Management

  • Deliver knowledge on the key difference between strategic and tactical engagement in procurement and how align the objective to the goal of the company
  • Participants will be fully aware on the key differences and what type of strategic and tactical focus needed to be implemented in procurement and inventory control

Module 4: Strategic Sourcing and Tendering Process

  • Define during training the different type of sourcing and tendering strategies.
  • Participants will learn the process of strategic sourcing and tendering. Identify the key challenges and steps in sourcing and tendering and also able to design in classroom the tendering flow chart and process to be in place.

Module 5: Ri Negotiation for PrProcurement

  • Type of Negotiation and steps to good negotiation practices. Understand the distributive and Integrative negotiation and when to use BATNA in negotiation.
  • Participants will learn the key steps to organizing a negotiation with suppliers. How to set up working group to handle challenging negotiation. Soft power versus Hard power in negotiation.

Module 6: Case studies and Test

  • Case studies on Tendering and Negotiation
  • Participants to get involve in negotiation. Class to be broken into 2 group of separate class during Tendering and Negotiation to achieve realistic scenario.
