Overview
The “Teamwork Makes the Dream Work” Workshop is a dynamic, interactive program designed to enhance team leadership and collaboration among senior executives and team leaders. The workshop begins with Leadership Journey Jigsaw focusing on personal leadership journeys, to set the stage with Dr. John Maxwell’s “17 Indisputable Laws of Teamwork” and engaging participants in pair-and-share activities to foster connection. Participants then explore their Leadership Style Teamwork Profiles, learning to understand themselves and appreciate diverse teamwork styles, culminating in a group exercise to visualize team dynamics.
The next segment delves into personal work motivation, using the Motivators framework to help participants identify what energizes them and their teams. By integrating Leadership Team Style and Motivators insights, leaders gain practical strategies for managing strengths and resolving conflicts, with actionable takeaways for immediate on the job application.
Senior leaders tackle the unique challenges of team development, decision-making, and effective leadership through structured discussions and real-world scenarios. Essential teamwork skills—such as goal setting, feedback, recognition, and managing differences—are taught employing adult learning techniques through a hands-on, skills application process.
A highlight of the workshop is the Team Competition Survival Game, where teams apply their learning in a high-stakes, simulated environment, followed by a debrief and awards. The workshop concludes with key insights, next steps for on-the-job application, participant feedback, and certificates.
