ONTAP: Your foundation for a seamless hybrid cloud.

ONTAP allows you to flexibly deploy storage on your choice of architectures—hardware storage systems, software-defined storage (SDS), and the cloud—while unifying enterprise data management across all of them. Accelerate your enterprise applications with flash, without compromising on the essential data services that you need. And seamlessly manage your data as it flows to wherever you need it most to help you make the best possible decisions for your organization.

ONTAP makes it easy to create an environment that is smart, powerful, and trusted that spans flash, disk, and cloud and is ready to handle your future requirements.

Training & Certification Guide

FPDESIGN: Designing the FlexPod Solution

This 2-days FPDESIGN: Designing the FlexPod Solution instructor-led course shows you how to evaluate the FlexPod solution design process in regard to the contemporary data center challenges. The course follows a standard design methodology that is used to create FlexPod designs. FlexPod architectures, components, design principles, use cases and preconfigured solutions are examined. Using NetApp and Cisco tools, learners create FlexPod designs that correlate to real-world environments.

CATSP: ONTAP Troubleshooting

In this CATSP: ONTAP Troubleshooting course, you increase your proficiency as a NetApp ONTAP software engineer by learning how to troubleshoot ONTAP environments. Specifically, you learn how to troubleshoot the management component, scale-out networking, NAS protocols (NFS and SMB), and SAN protocols (iSCSI).

DATAPROT: ONTAP Data Protection Administration

This intermediate-level NetApp training course introduces key concepts and techniques for protecting data on NetApp® ONTAP® based systems. You learn about the data protection solutions that are integrated in ONTAP software. You also learn about tools for managing ONTAP data protection features. In the hands-on exercises, you use ONTAP System Manager and the ONTAP CLI to perform key data protection tasks. This course is updated for ONTAP 9.11.1 software.

NFSAD: ONTAP NFS Administration

This NFSAD: ONTAP NFS Administration course extends the NFS information that is found in the ONTAP Cluster Administration course. This course reviews NFS and explores in more detail different NFS versions and the features of ONTAP 9 software that support the NFS protocol. The exercises are accomplished using ONTAP 9 software.

ONTAPADM: ONTAP Cluster Administration

In this official NetApp training course, you learn the basic administration tasks of a NetApp® ONTAP® 9.11 cluster.
