How to get certified

UiPath certifications are delivered through the UiPath Certified Professional program, which validates expertise in robotic process automation (RPA) and enterprise automation development.

Certification Levels

Automation Developer Associate (Entry Level)

  • Validates the ability to design and build simple automation solutions using UiPath Studio, Robots, and Orchestrator components.

Automation Developer Professional (Advanced)

  • Demonstrates advanced capability in designing complex enterprise automation solutions using the Robotic Enterprise Framework.

Automation Business Analyst Associate

  • Focuses on identifying automation opportunities, analyzing business processes, and collaborating with RPA developers to implement automation workflows.

RPA Developer Learning Track

  • The typical developer pathway progresses from foundational automation concepts to advanced enterprise automation design.

1. UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer Associate

UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer Associate is for professionals who want to build, assess, and demonstrate their Automation skills. It is also a recommended foundational level certification to become Advanced Automation Developers, Solution Architects, or Automation Architects.

This certification is suitable for anyone in a technical or semi-technical role who needs to work with the UiPath RPA platform such as RPA Developers, RPA Architects, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and others.

This certification replaces the UiPath Certified Professional RPA Associate certification which retired as of October 13, 2023.

2. UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer Professional

UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer Professional assesses a deeper level of Automation expertise covering the Robotic Enterprise Framework.

This credential replaces the UiPath Certified Professional Advanced RPA Developer wnhich retired as of October 13 2023.

Products covered in the UiPath RPA Associate v1.0 Exam and the UiPath Advanced RPA Developer v1.0 Exam include:

  • UiPath Studio version 2021.10
  • UiPath Robots version 2021.10
  • UiPath Orchestrator version 2021.10

We will be continuously aligning training and certification exams to newer product releases of the UiPath platform. We plan to introduce the next versions of the exams when UiPath introduces major updates or disruptive technologies.

Your credentials in the UiPath Certified Professional program will not expire! However, the value of your credential will reduce over time. We encourage you to maintain the value of your credential by taking new versions of the exam as and when they are introduced.
