Overview
ArchiMate, The Open Group Standard, is an open and independent modeling language for enterprise architecture that is supported by different tool vendors and consulting firms.
ArchiMate® provides instruments to enable enterprise architects to describe, analyse and visualise the relationships among business domains in an unambiguous way.
Upon completion, participant can enroll in the following certification exam:
- ArchiMate 3 Foundation
The purpose of this certification is to provide validation that the participant has gained knowledge of the notation, terminology, structure and concepts
of theArchiMate® modeling language. The learning objectives at this level focus on knowledge and comprehension. - ArchiMate® 3 Practitioner
The purpose of this certification is to provide validation that the participant has gained knowledge as in Level 1 and has the capability to use the ArchiMate® language for modeling.
Skills Covered
- It provides an understanding on the ArchiMate® modeling language, its core concepts and their relationship toTOGAF®.
- It provides an understanding on the aspects and layers in the ArchiMate® framework i.e. the relationship among Application, Business and Technology layers.
- It presents the concept to model the cross-layer dependencies by offering to model the link between business application and technology.
- It covers the application of the ArchiMate ® concepts using Motivation Elements, Strategy Elements, Physical Elements, Implementation and Migration Elements.
- It provides a flexible approach in which architects can represent different stakeholder’s views, especially those impacted by the change process.
Who Should Attend
- IT/Enterprise Architects (business architects, software architects, information architects and infrastructure architects) who need to use ArchiMate® in the context of TOGAF environment.
