In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region stands out as a hub of online activity. In 2021 alone, countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand welcomed 40 million new internet users, with a significant 80% of them embracing online shopping.

As this digital engagement grows, so does the exposure to cyber threats. Recognizing the critical need for robust cybersecurity, the APAC Cybersecurity Fund (ACF) is dedicated to fortifying the region’s digital defenses. This chapter of the collaboration is aimed at empowering Malaysian micro and small businesses, nonprofits, and social enterprises with the essential skills to navigate the internet securely and confidently.

Through comprehensive training programs, ACF enhances awareness and understanding of fundamental cyber hygiene practices among targeted sectors. By equipping entrepreneurs and organizations with the tools to identify and mitigate cyber threats, we aim to bolster the resilience of Malaysia’s digital economy, ensuring a safer online environment for all.
